I have stoptech lines + bbk on my E36, which is not exactly used lightly.

          I'd trust those without hesitation.

+1 For StopTech. Put one of their BBK's on my e36 and was impressed by the fit and finish (including the brake lines).

Any tips for making damaged clear coat look better? Have sections that are peeling and some that are white/oxidized.

As a matter of fact it does. Instead of being on the verge of rear-ending the traffic ahead, now traffic nearly slams into me ;) After 22 years and 275k, most anything is an improvement at this point on that car.

Agreed. Their pads and lines have been good for the cars I've worked on with them. Personally I like rubber lines on a street car but SS have not been bad for me but new rubber vs new ss I can't feel the difference in the pedal.

I've been working on tuning my car this week and many it's a pita.

my first car was almost a saab 9-3. Clutch cable slipped and wouldnt engage on the second test drive. It made cool turbo sounds though
