Unfortunately do to my recently busier work schedule at my day job, I wasn't able to document each car well enough for it's own build thread. I have good portions of each car, so I will be doing one massive build thread for all 5 cars.

Well the money I got, and I have a decent replacement...

My new E46 M3 that I'm swapping a cammed LS6 into, with nitrous and doing custom rivet on flares for :

You traded an e30 m3 with s54 for an e46 m3.... No I don't approve. It's doesn't matter what you put in the e46, hey are still a dime a dozen...I would trade my fully modded out e30 for a bone stock e30 m3 rite now. E46, no way.

That being said it was damn near the perfect e30 M3...I'd have had a hard time even considering selling it with as much done to it as it was...

Not traded, sold Carey, for great money might I add. I'm using the money from the E30 to invest in property, so it was a much wiser financial decision on my part. I never would've traded my E30 for an E46 M3, unless there was a good bit of cash on top.

The reasons I decided to sell it are:

1) I realized a well timed opportunity to receive a very substantial return on an investment

2) I realized that after planning for, collecting all the parts needed, and building MY IMAGE of the perfect E30 M3, I realized that it wasn't the right car for me. I LOVED the way the car looked and perfrmed in every aspect, however I was paranoid every time I drove it. I tracked the car on 2 occasions, both of which I slightly damaged the body. Had this been a normal E30 I could care less, but to potentially destroy an M3, I realized that I could never drive the car the way I wanted to, without being scared about hurting it. I also realized that after doing some of the body work and prep with Alex Castro to change the color of the car, and that I was going to have a show car quality paint job, I would be too scared to even drive the car on the streets. These reasons, combined with the issues I ran into over the past year with developing the Alpha-N tune for the airbox with 2 different tuners, I lost my love for my dream car.

3) Despite how well the car performed with the suspension I had on it, and the s54 set-up, I knew I would eventually get bored with the power. Seeing that I'm all about usable power, and that even with sticky 255/40/17s out back, the car had traction issues in various scenarios, I realized that the car was at it's full potential for MY PURPOSES. Not that there's anything wrong with that, but I've driven some really fast cars, with way more grip lately, and I wanted something with more potential.

Granted I need to spend much more time on the track, honing in my driving skills before I can determine that the car was at it's full potential. However, with all the other reasons behind the sale, it was just the right move for me.

The E46 M3 is my new project, which I got a ridiculous deal on. Should be pretty impressive with flares, wide wheels and tires, and the LS6 and 6 speed.

Don't fret though, Grimace's legacy will be reborn in Chris Castro's M3. For helping the sale of the car to Frank, I gave Chris my techno violet paint, my purple m-tech interior, my alcantara headliner, and my AC Schnitzer steering wheel. His car will FINALLY be painted!

Sounds like Win-Win for everyone involved. E46 M3's make perfect sense considering how capable they are, they can be had for as little as 10K and of course the fun factor. Besides, you can buy one, swap the engine to LS and sell the S54 for the same price since that's the hot BMW engine right now.
