Sold my 318is with 450k+ and would pass smog with original cat and a chip. Smoke test time maybe? I've read if you use a universal o2 sensor it can read wrong from the wires being spliced.

Replaced the intake boot yesterday and took it in today to get smogged and failed again at 15 mph for too much NOx.... FML

Unplug o2 sensor. High nox is running lean, this will force it to run sorta not really rich in open loop.
Btw you better be at a no pass no pay play lol or that's $$$ for each time.

                Unfortunately, $39.95 each time.

Not trying to hijack your thread... but if anybody has a cat they want to let me borrow / buy then that'd be awesome. I'm catless and need to pass smog here in San Jose / Santa Clara... I haven't even tried getting tested yet because I know I won't pass.

                    Duuuuuudeeeeee.

If you want some more time just claim out of state residency.
Tags good for one year without smog.

Yeah I think my cat is done, ran the car really lean once, maybe that killed it.
