      People need to drive more new cars. Sure they don't have that "old school flare", but engineering has come a LONG way to make speed/safety/handling accessible to even the cheapest cars.

              S54 + CSL + E36 because I have one that's pretty much built otherwise + 3.5" exhaust = WINNAR!

              The CSL airbox is the best $3k ever spent for 0 hp gain.

                  true, but dynos can't give a proper hp gain with that intake. Even if it's a 0hp gain I'd buy it, so if a conservative 10-15rwhp bonus is realized I'd be ecstatic.

                              The headers are the most restrictive part of that motor...

                                if you want massive power with an S54, you need 3-3.5" exhaust, Supersprint Stepped v1 or Evosport headers, Evosport or similar underdrive pullies (doesn't add much power but reduces wear), and a 3.5" intake, ALL combined with an Epic Motorsports tune. This will net 300-350whp depending on what all you've done.

                                Basically, call Bimmerworld for e46 m3 tips and suggestions, they know their shit cold on these cars.
