It was a good race sir. I kept it in 5th to keep things even. In the end the Element pulled out the win and dominated!

Going to dig into my front wheel bearing tomorrow before work. Cal says you don't need to replace them both at the same time, but I've read from others that you should. I really don't have the cash to buy another one, but the car is all torn apart. Opinions?
Here's a potential PIA. My rotor is off because I had to drill out the set screw (luckily on the bad wheel bearing. I don't really have a way to mount it back up cleanly to have someone hold the brake so I can break the lock nut. Any suggestions? I was thinking about fabbing up something to stick in the lug nut holes.JOY IS AN E30...

This is another subject (hence the new post). I've got a couple M Coupe guys interested in replacing subframe bushings. IE subframe bushings have been recommended by the subframe guru to prevent trunk floor separation. I also can bet they don't want to pull the subframe completely to do it as they are all low mileage cars. I have a homemade tool, but it isn't going to last. I was thinking about buying the SIR tool and charging the guys $50 to do their subframe bushings or use the tool (as many times as they want). It's a $400 tool so I wouldn't break even, just offset the cost. Is anyone here interested in that? It wouldn't be until tax refund time.JOY IS AN E30...

I'd avoid IE bushings like the plague. Also, anything stiffer than a stock bushing (read: polyurethane) will put more stress on the trunk floor. If you're going to go through the work of replacing the bushings, it's good to reinforce the floor too.
Also, do you have a link to this SIR tool?Comment

Why? IE or something specific about the bushing? The M Coupe guys swear by the IE subframe bushings. Consistently. It's been said it's the single best mod you can do to the car.

You don't need to step on the brake to do a front wheel bearing - The spindle doesn't spin.Comment

Scheduled some dyno time on Saturday morning.. should be interesting to see where the car is at with the off-the-shelf conforti tuning.
Maybe I'll try to fix the evap code before then too. Maybe.
Car is running really awesome, I am super excited to see what kind of power it makes!Comment

Can you post the dyno once you're done?
If you get done in time, come biking in the afternoon!Comment

Dyno'ing at MAC. The NASA GTS guys are having a day, and they didn't fill every spot.
