Needs a couple minor things, but it's a sweet car. I miss driving my E36 a lot less now!

It has a couple sweet parts on it, Bilstein PSS10's (fantastic ride quality), Corsa Exhaust, and a 2.8L motor has replaced the original 2.5L.

Sweet. I like it. A lot.

Good stuff. It'll be interesting to see if the cage/safety requirements will change for 2013 after all the crashes last year.

Its so crazy to watch that video, especially when you meet people driving the course. I knew 3 that went up this year alone.

No one makes this car anymore. The government won't allow them, normal people won't buy them. So it's up to us: the freaks, the weirdos, the informed. To buy them, to appreciate them, and most importantly, to drive them.

I got the E30 up and running again and took it for a drive for the first time in months. I don't think I've driven it in the mountains for over a year. First off, I am amazed at how slow it is. I guess that is to be expected. The suspension ride quality is awful and the steering response is adequate at best even with the E36 M3 rack.

However, it was still a blast. Something about old BMW's screaming at redline along twisty roads just works so well. The whole experience is a blast. A great way to spend a few hours.

It's amazing how driving new cars will ruin you when you get in the old ones.

                          Car looks good/clean!

Done with this quarter. If I have to retake this class, at least I'm stuck surrounded by awesome racetracks to entertain myself.

That might actually not work out so well.....

Does Laguna Seca have open lapping days? Or is it all club based events?
