      Upper timing belt cover

      Hi there,

I was working on my new to me E30 last night and found that my timing belt tensioner had sheared off from the bracket which resulted in the pulley and belt wearing a grove in my timing belt cover. I don't suppose anyone has an upper timing belt cover they're willing to part with?

      Thanks a bunch,
      Mark

Drove the M3 up to longmont yesterday, and on the way home we were passed by a primer with a white stripe 2002 round that had IE flares and racing seats. Anybody know who owns that car? Looks straight, just needs a fresh bucket of colorado orange!

Anyone close to south Denver or Castle Rock have the rear wheel bearing tool (Harbor Freight or BMW)?

Figured I'd ask before going to Lowes and making my own.

I used an air chisel to get mine out that worked pretty well for me.

I put them in the freezer while I took the old ones out so they'd shrink they slid in fairly easy

interesting... didn't think it could be that easy. Last time I did it with the Harbor Freight tool thing and it wasn't too bad but I don't feel like driving all the way to HF to buy one.
