We need more e30s at the CUSCC meet. Its usually a bunch of subarus, a few M cars, and that's about it.

If it is this Friday I will be heading to Utah for the weekend. I still plan on making the GTG though.

I will be at the CUSCC meet, not going to the autocross. Debating which car to bring, both are still pretty and shiny.

i'll TRY to be at the meet, but my E30 just this morning decided to develop a new and very bad problem, it really hard to explain what its doing, but its running like shit, and I barely made it back home.

ha ha! i didn't even explain what it was doing!

well let me tell you the symptoms:

fine when cold, ran normal, then it warmed up, then what i noticed was that while coasting in gear, there was WAY more resistance than usual which slowed the car more, then i had to push the gas down twice as much to get it going, BUT, if i floored it, it would accelerate fine, and when at an idle it idles super super low and choppy, and stalled once. Also, while crusing, the mpg gauge never went above 10. To cruise at constant speed, even down a hill, the gas pedal needed to be pushed considerably more.

Fuel system or ignition system is a great starting point. The part that gets me confused is you say there is a lot more resistance when coasting. Do you smell any burning brakes? Possible stuck e-brake?

Yeah I was gonna honestly stick with my psychic diagnosis lol, till you mentioned some really off the wall shit. I'd suggest looking through the fuel system or electrical like Peter (correct? I dunno) said. I'm gonna do some sleuthing and post back
