Applying tomorrow. Know any professors that you can convince to put in a good word for me?

.....Though the SS rear lines in an E30 are a major bitch. The ex wasn't super wild about watching me lie under the car in the gravel at 1130 spraying brake cleaner all over the underside of the damn car. I think my hair got dyed blue from that debacle. Car stayed on stands for a few more months, I think her nefarious "keep david away from the damn car" idea worked.

I do like how E30s don't have structural failures nor water pump issues though.
    Touche...

Just doing suspension on an E30 is longer/more difficult since everything on the front runs through the strut, and the stock rear springs don't like to come out.

Probably, in Mechanical? I could get you some emails of good profs to get in contact with.

Hm. All I've done on an E30 is brakes and minor maintenance. Haven't messed with its suspension yet.

I had no issues slapping on my coilovers... Biggest problem was finding the right side socket to reassemble my hubs. My rear springs came out no big deal :)

PM me for detailing services in the Longmont / Boulder Area in Colorado!

I would really appreciate that. Seriously.

E36 is much easier. I can do a spring/shock swap on an e36 by only removing one bolt (lower shock) and two nuts (rsm). Don't even have to remove the wheel.

Had to lower brad's diff, exhaust, unclip the sway, and much more just to get the stock rear springs out.

Weird, I had to use screwdrivers as levers to get brad's over the perch things.

Nah, like I said, biggest obstacle was finding the socket to assemble the front hubs. Everything else was cake.

Weird. Try an E36 then, even easier. :)

I like my semi-slammed tissue box on reps ;)
