Stupid work computer froze. Can I rotor share hps and pfc06?

It doesn't really matter, for the initial bed/break-in period the brakes won't work as well as they eventually will because the combination of wearing to fit the rotor and scrubbing the other pad's compound deposits off of the rotot, and then depositing its own compound on the rotor will take a while.

The compounds won't help each other, that's for sure. I think the HT10 and HP+ are more swappable because the compounds are somewhat similar (sure feels that way to my foot, almost no bed in was needed), but I doubt the PFC and HP+ will be the same.

If I can share rotors for street pads (HPS or w/e) and track pads (PFC06/HT-10) I might be able to swing that. Buying two sets of pads AND rotors is just too much right now as I really need to buy tires.

Everything I've heard is do not mix pad compounds on rotors. Plus, you don't have to buy everything right now since were not racing every weekend... Plus I know where to get cheap rotors...

Yep, I just need to figure out what I want to do asap so I can get my car back on the road. Either HP+ and dual purpose it, or two sets and spend more money that could be used for other stuff

some cheap street pads will run your $30 and give you time to decide what you want to do lol. Just slap on some checker or autozone etc. pads (they'll work fine) and they'll give you time. Buy another set of rotors and a set of track pads and you'll be set (this is exactly what I'm doing... ). No name pads on old rotors on the street, car stops fine as of last night, and I'll be ordering some rotors and pads here eventually, but not for a while. Those I'll swap for track

Here's my plan:

Buy 2 sets of rotors and 2 sets of pads.

Set 1: daily driving street use.
Set 2: track and rally use.

Set 1 will always be cheap stuff that works fine.
Set 2 will be as awesome as I want to afford, but I'm still using cheap rotors.

Make sure you keep each pad/rotor set labeled for each wheel and you can properly bed them each time you swap....

Also, use good fluid all the time. It's worth the $$.

HPS. Enough people have said they have very low dust and don't make noise. Raceshopper has them for 123 shipped which isn't awful if they are as good as people claim.

Whose said they were good lol? I've never really heard anything good about the HPS making me want to buy them over a regular street pad. If you're buying a "stree only" setup, I'd suggest going with some regular run of the mill pads. Those wont dust really at all and they're a fraction of the cost of the HPS pads

I'm arguing that it isn't the factor to fret over.

So, conclusion is that the most important thing is weight, not size...good thing the 15x8's im ordering are 12 lbs!
