hah! you should have seen it in person! I thought the jeep was going to explode! It held together nicely though, only one of his rally lights fell off.I was just saying that jeeps like that are more common in MDR/SCORE racing out here on the west coast. Its just different seeing a jeep driving on a course like that, that fast. It is a high center of gravity type vehicle(i thought he was going to roll over in the video).;)

I actually haven't. I missed it last year, and I lived in MD before that. Most other people on this regional forum has seen it, and a buddy of mine is actually racing in it next year.Comment

I think WRC should come to the USA in colorado and run the rally there and make pikes peak a special stage. What do you think?Your signature picture has been removed since it contained the Photobucket "upgrade your account" image.

I kind of want to keep the e30 on pavement. So I was wondering if any of you seen any older land rovers at these events?
I was thinking a beat up 89-92 range rover would be good because they're pretty cheap, AWD, coil sprung, and damn near indestructible. And the sound of an aluminum V8 at 5-6k doesn't hurt either.Comment

And rally E30s are bad-ass.Comment

I have seen them run these in MDR/SCORE offroad racing. A friend of mine was a tech at a dealer in anaheim,ca and they had a 90 RR sponsored by that dealer.I kind of want to keep the e30 on pavement. So I was wondering if any of you seen any older land rovers at these events?

I probably should have been worried, but all I remember is thinking "uh-oh" and then hearing SLAM, SLAM, BANG, SLAM from my poor old suspension as I careened across the ditches and berms.
Why yes, I am pretty bitchin' in person.

You live in NM and own a jeep...so how is the off-roading down there? I'm going to be going to college down there and off-roading looks fun...
