M's not broken anymore...gets out of the shop tomorrow or wed. I wouldn't be going to the track otherwise.

I see cops on lookout often, but they are only in 3 places (bottom turn by the big gate, switchbacks, and the very top). Besides, we're not going to be going at any reasonable rate of speed. This is a cruise, not a canyon run...

You can't hoon on this road, but there are stretches where you can see ahead and give it a little for a turn or two.

I'm just planning on going for a relaxing drive. We're already planning on BBQing and chilling as a group, so changing the location of the drive doesn't make sense.
          this is mostly the reason

indeed, I have never of all the times seen one driving up the road, if so I would love for them to scratch them kids on skate boards that are more scary than bikers!!!... Ian has reached high speeds with no problems and even I!!

There will be cops anywhere. Common sense prevails, I've had lots of fun on that road, but its a gamble anywhere. Most common spot is just after the pillars. Here's a couple of teasers from 2 years ago:

I sold the Alpine E36 shortly after, and my buddy wrapped it around a pole! The E46 was my uncles, and the M Roadster went to my dad.

So, given by the above photos, I see why high speeds are hard to attain on this road, and yet it can still be fun. We shall see if I am able to join this hooliganry. (yes it's a word, i just officially invented it.)

No one makes this car anymore. The government won't allow them, normal people won't buy them. So it's up to us: the freaks, the weirdos, the informed. To buy them, to appreciate them, and most importantly, to drive them.
