Rams Village/Rams Point suck, don't bother. They're close, convenient, loud, obnoxious, and shitty. Try to get into a house somewhere west of Lemay/east of Taft Hill, and North of Drake/south of Mulberry. In that "rectangle" there is plenty of housing that is affordable and you can find some nice neighborhoods.
