You wouldn't pay what I'd want if I did sell! It was a $6500 custom built kit 5 years ago, all Zildjian A and K cymbals, some vintage from the 70's. Would need at least $5k to let it go, but I really don't even want to!

So I've heard from a few people, that exhaust shops won't touch cars that have had the cat removed? I need to re-align the pipe that was welded on, as it makes the back section sit at an angle. Right now, I can't use my mid section hangers because my muffler will hit the driveshaft. How much do you think it will cost to cut, and re-weld the piping so that my exhaust doesn't sit at such a bad angle?

Austin, don't sell your kit, you'll regret it forever. My kit wasn't a quarter as nice but I still miss it. I only play my current rig like once a month but couldn't fathom getting rid of it.

That's how I feel. There's no way I could replicate it for the amount of money I have in it. However, i just don't know if I'll play again anytime in the near future :/

No harm in just holding onto it. After my dad told me that he missed out on a 2 yr old Shelby GT350 in the late 60s that he could have gotten from a friend for a song, I decided then and there not to allow myself to live with any regrets. So I don't turn down opportunities and don't set myself up to regret things later. Partly why I keep my Buell. It's 2 years old and barely has 1800 miles, it's just too cool to get rid of.

Just keep it, if you sell you are more than likely to never play again. I've played bass for over 20 years and have this pile of stuff collecting dust but there is no way I will sell it.
