Just got a $124 ticket for no front plate .. I am DEFINITELY taking this one to court. Another officer told me it was no big deal and it was fine about a month ago :hitler:

If you get out of it it will be the judge feeling bad for you. Front plates are required in WA, no exceptions (hypercars not included)

Someone needs to get into making CHEAP front plate relocation kits that go into where the tow hook would go. Take it off in a breeze, and still off the bumper.

The ones i've seen available from BMW Seattle are SPENDY. If you had welding skills you could probably make one out of a spare plate frame, and chopped up tow hook.

I hadn't thought about it before, but couldn't that potentially destroy your tow hook capabilities if you got in any sort of accident? You'd mangle the tow hook spot by crashing basically a spear through it.

Just put it back on and take a picture of it installed to bring to court with you and limp extra when you have to walk up to the stand.

Potentially, but I don't think it'd be a reason to NOT run one (I'm not anticipating hitting anyone, but who is?). Been talking to my roommate about doing the welding for me, shouldn't be too hard at all.
