Throwout make noise so I don't think it's the problem. Does it go into gear normally?

Maybe his clutch fork pivot broke/escaped.

The throwout has always been a bit noisy but I figured maybe that was normal with the noisy trans. It was brand new oem. The car drives and sounds exactly the same as it did before the pop. Well and the engagement of course.

Yeah, wouldn't be anything breaking in the bellhousing, or your pedal would be down further.
Any unusual vibrations? Maybe the disk ate itself.

I don't see why the dme wouldn't.

No unusual vibrations. One couldnt tell anything was really wrong without driving it before and after. It is very weird. Still drives fine though.

Semi-seriously looking for a late model (1988-89 preferred, others considered) alpinweis coupe, non running. Preferably no body damage. Kind of putting some feelers out there right now...looking to change things up a little bit. If anyone knows of one, let me know.

does any one know what shit to use to reseal the headlight glass. my highbeam glass came off when i was putting the rings back on.
