Hey looking to paint the floor of my garage. Any recommendations on brands to avoid?

Concrete? Have you thought about staining it?

Gerta id stain it, if you dont want to stain, I used behr epoxy with pretty good results, make sure you etch the floor with acid and get it super clean though.

The behr stuff is nice cause you can pick any color you want out of the catalog, so i picked a nice medium brown for my fathers garage so while my car sits there any oil stains dont stand out.

Yeah, I'm going to sweep, hot mop, and then acid etch. I'll probably go with a Rustoleum product $199 for a two car garage. Going Garagejournal the build I think.

If/When you do it at your current place, let me know, would love to watch someone do it first before I try!

The rustoleum stuff is sub par imo, mainly cause the options for colors are yellow sand and blue gray.

Im serious we did our garage with the gray rustoleum stuff first and the gray comes out like a baby light blue.

This stuff ("RockSolid") came recommended on GarageJournal. FYI.

Any of you blokes on here have space to store a parts car for a short period of time ... willing to rent some space. Covered or not is fine, it's a 2002 parts car that I need to move.

Please let me know via PM and what you think you'd charge for a fee.

I think it's time we R3v members (Alpha Team specifically) start looking into cheap warehouse space to store our toys/set up shop;D

                        but seriously...

What do you think a shop space would rent for?

I was looking at warehouses to buy before I left, rent is probably a few thousand a month, buying is north of half a million, easy.
