Please old man, Im talking about how it was a miracle, obviously its straight if they are driving the car out of the shop.

How much did they charge you? Heard you say they went a little over budget, which is typical.

While I won't kiss and tell (again, with age you'll get this one), I'll say that it was far less over budget than the last time. It's cheaper to move from one car to another than to invent and fabricate a bunch of solutions the first time.

There's a ton of stuff in flux right now with my house, the cars, everything is up in the air. When I have some more details I'll start looking into how best to actually part the damn thing out and where to go from here. I'll of course keep the room updated, that car was in great shape, there's gonna be some good stuff to salvage for sure.

depends where the hell I am and what the return time is for me. Im at the airport now, be in Seattle at 9pm tonight... dont have a return flight yet. Im kinda freaking out haha

So who was at Capitol Hill last night? Saw 3 e30s. Red late model 325is, early bronzit vert, and a early black 325is. 3 e30s all on the same block

Does anyone know what the little black wire that runs along the Battery Cable does? It is attached to the battery cable and follows it through the cabin then gets attached to the power junction on the firewall.. Anyone know what the hell this little wire does? Just seems redundant to me.. anyone?

Yeah it's a fusesable link but what does it power?

It's essentially a safety, lets say you accidentally crossed your terminals, or overpower your power cables, it blows that fuse instead of traveling down the line and zapping your electronics.
You get the same symptoms as removing your battery when it's blown.
