I was showing you pictures that describe how different it feels. And when you cut springs or when they are shorter, the stiffer they get. It's a common mistake. This explains it simply:



Now which one will bend the most? Shorter is stiffer, even if the wire is the same diameter. Sway bars, torsion beam all work the same way. A spring is just a torsion beam in a coil.

This is obviously but what im saying is short thin spring < short thick spring

Short and thin increases your chance of bottoming out correct?

You don't know... Not to mention how old are these springs? Lowering springs are only about 200 dollars and every variable is accounted for.

I spent nothing and they are balanced enough that you'd have to put it on suspension dyno to determine that they are perfect.

Now I can use that $200 to get a 5spd swap or put toward some Bilsteins. Or beer :drink:
