finally get to start my weekend. i just have to decide if i want to go drain the oil thats in my engine that has less then 1 mile on it so i can change the oil pump shaft stops so i can drive the E30 to the toy run tomorrow, or if i want to be lazy and drop the pan in the morning and take the time to swap in my E36 rack as well.

Do it all now. I just pulled a tranny in 3 hours (spent since 10:30 doing it off an on...) oil pan should take just as long.

All of this is from the 325e engine the roommate & myself have been tearing down. Straight to the scrapyard for this engine.

Makes me want to change the one in my new engine before we just drop it, even though it came from a grandpa driver that did every maintenance it seemed.

Change that belt immediately. These motors are notorious for breaking rockers and bending/breaking valves so just change it for peace of mind.
