Anybody try this fancy e39 key setup on an e30?

Looks like he's discontinuing the setup because people didn't like them auto-arming the alarm. $50 bucks for what is either a full alarm or some cool key-blanks ain't a bad deal.

That's cool. Looks like it's just the alarm kit (no keyless entry only), and only the e46 keys?

Yeah, he says that he's discontinuing it because people don't like that it auto-arms and you can't disable that. I don't really see how that's a bad thing though. If nothign else the key is just super-cool compared to existing ones. And if you don't want the alarm can't you just unplug the lights-controller/horn?

I'd recommend starting a thread for this, there is a TON of stuff to do.
-Hike Mount Si
-Go to the EMP
-Canoe through UW's arboretum
-Visit Gasworks park at night, the Fremont Troll, Ballard Locks, walk through UW, Pike Place, Olympic Sculpture Garden, Discovery Park

There's too much to do. I spent some time living in South Bay and Seattle just beats the hell out if it in every way. Definitely make a thread to get some wider thoughts on the todo list.
