              It is a bit easier to just put a floor jack under the ball joint and put some pressure on it.

                so during this process my dad says "why dont i just order some struts off of sears and have them put the springs on while doing replacing your struts?" Me:"so i should buy 30$ monroe struts and replace the 150$ea bilstein HD's? that only have like 5k on them?"

                He wants to chicken out and not take the tie rod off.

                      Well f you all, I can do things fine on my own

                      M50 intake off, valve cover off, parts cleaned, list oif parts to replace made, and everything bagged and labeled. I love this motor..

                      Cleaning parts and sandblasting my valve cover tomorrow with AAA325is :)

                          Because the tie rod was unhooked from the strut, I don't think my father is thinking straight.

                                On a better note, the e30 is washed, dried and ready to be flogged.
