    same front end, in 97 they did the "face lift" to the scooped or flat hood and better looking headlights and grill. but if you get a base impreza with the flat hood its nuts how many people are willing to trade for the scooped hood for a flat. i loved my hood especially since i had a nice carbon S201 hood scoop. ive built i think 15 subaru's now so i know them quite well. dam good cars.
