I've replaced an entire engine in that space ;) but yes I can work on my car if I wanted. Only shitty thing is its outside. I have a covered space for it, but its still outside

I'm doing this whole swap by myself, so any ideas have to be worked around just one man doing the work. I'l have 2 x jacks, 4 x jack stands, & only weight 150 lbs. & it feels like I'm lifting half my weight. *time to hit the weights again*

        Thanks guys

p.s. Also will some wheel bearing grease work for the inside of the transmission input shaft? Anything on the spindle?

Amazing deals on this 450Lb Low Lift Transmission Jack at Harbor Freight. Quality tools & low prices.

Haha it's going to suck, the biggest issue is getting the transmission onto the jack while laying on the ground. I am a tiny guy with hardly any arm strength from that perspective. I'll use safety & my brain & see what comes of it this evening.
Jay-B-Q?? Do you have an indoor space to work on your car?

Brad, the clutch slave should just unbolt with the two 13mm on the trans. Might need to drop the trans down a little, but when I changed the one on my 'vert, it was not required. Good luck to you!

I like the idea of a Jay-B-Q. Ribs sound awesome. I like garlic mashed potatoes, FWIW.

Thanks Austin. I was able to get it off without lowering the trans. It was a matter of squeezing my hands into those tight spaces... Ridiculous

It's not indoor since its a barn, but its covered and out the rain. Im in jeans and a sweater and only the wind is bothering me, but my head is shaved.

Need a quick reply please, is my pilot bearing supposed to be all the way back? I ask because I hammered it in, but it has some space slightly. Greasing input shaft now ....

16 bucks for each corner isn't bad, I doubt I can get it done for cheaper.
