Wind + Gravel Driveway * 16-inches of water = One Rocky Ride w/ the truck

If you were to try & grab this street sign, fell in you wouldn't fall into 2-3 feet of water, you would go under about almost 10 feet.

My car is sitting in that bar, and the water is literally 3 inches from going inside. I had to put the car as high as the jack stands would go & pray that it's enough to save it.

We can do a weekend R3v party / work meet, I just hope you guys have scuba gear or swim trunks.
Holy fuck! That's a lot of water!

The transmission is up, it's just not going into the guide pins, and I'm stuck as to why. Wiggling & etc. hasn't worked thus far.

With the cattle moving over the ground the last week, it's all mud & turned up grass now. I've done what I could with the time I had & just hope the news is right about the next storm being lighter than the last. Otherwise I can kiss this E30 goodbye

It's been rough, had to take water out to my mom since the water pump broke, & had to help a co-worker get out of Turner as well. I expect Seattle area to flood after that snow melts as well.

The 5 from Federal Way to Tacoma was pretty good. Parking lots not so much.

I do need some sort of guidance, one guy in the transmission thread was odd with his answer. how hard do I need to push to get the transmission to set into the pilot bearing im assuming.

It's so close and it just won't move into the guide pins or anything. someone have an answer?

                          edit:

Wish I had someone to call

Have you tried spinning the input shaft?

I'll do that right now & report back. I know when I try to spin it in gear it's hard & I'll be turning the engine.

Ooh so the input shaft is already in the clutch? Then that method won't work because it helps slide it into the clutch. Are you sure there is nothing around the bell housing blocking it?
