I found a low mileage Euro S50B32 in Germany on a local ad, the seller said they would ship.

I know DHL will ship it, but I heard that there is also ocean freight?

I just I just wonder what is the most economical company/method to ship an engine from Europe?

I'd call DHL to do it. I've shipped a pallet via ocean freight. It took two months and I had to find a customs broker, pay local fees in the LA port as well as PDX, had to do a bunch of other stuff... it wasn't worth the hassle for the $ I saved. Just do DHL air. It'll take a week and they'll handle everything.

Depends how bad you really want the motor. The last two I shipped (Alfa 2.5, about the same size and weight of an m20, and a Lancia 3 litre) were about $5000 to ship to London via air. To ship by boat takes months like Ken said but is less.

Just had a stand off with a scrap hauler about that Accord. I guess before I scooped up the Accord the PO called this scrap guy to come get it. Well, she didn't let him know I bought it. The dude was fucking furious, he started yelling at me in I think it was russian. Mind you I got a lobby full of customers, shit was ridiculous. Things got a little intense, I pretty sure he was ready to throw down. I told him leave, he went out to his tow truck, came back and started yelling at me again. I was being civil with him the first time around but, the second time not so much. Some words were exchanged and I told him he needs to get off my property in 2 minutes or I'm calling the cops. He just left, this dude was nuts!
