I have no welder. There like 20 damn holes on the lid because it looks like it took a couple tries for them to get it to sit straight(even though it was about a half inch crooked) I'm not messin with it. I found a fender and lid for 25$ each that's way less hassle. Pickin it up Saturday.

No secret. It will be primer gay, Until I've dumped enough money into it to make it worth painting.
The primer I'm respraying it with is a little darker and I'm going to seal it with a matte clear once it's all primed. It should look pretty nice against freshly painted black trim and late model bumpers.
The hood has its first coat I still have to putty, sand, respray, wet sand, and then clear it
Eta's on its last leg that tow hook is not for looks, I had to get it because I had to cut the factory hook off for the facelift. I'm looking for a factory tow hook but there pretty hard to find for a decent price.
I've towed the car twice on that hook it's not bad for a 25$ egay special.

go to pick n pull, find bmw, pocket tow hook, I believe a couple years have the same ones, i also try to find the tire wedges because they are so much nicer to use then wooden blocks.

I look, no such luck yet. I didn't know those tire wedges were factory. I thought it was odd that two different bummers I had came with the same wedge.
I'm hoping so it looks good in my head, but it could turn out looking like complete shit. I would then be forced to crush my car, kill the dog, and then play on the freeway in a blindfold.
After selling the 6, a good friend of mine is selling me his 83 633. Schwartz on cardinal. Rolling on a set of MSW WHEELS by OZ in 16x8 all around, et11. 245/45/16 in the rear and 225/50/16 up front.

Unless you are using epoxy primer the bare metal under the primer will rust.
