          Sure, hopefully it's running by then but whenever you got time let me know.

            Anyone have anything good to say about a 97 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo? Got a chance to pick one up for dirt. 1000. Leather interior, white on the outside, 170k. I just did a radiator, hoses, and thermostat on it last summer.. It's an auto V6

            Figure at the very least, I could let my girl drive it on the snow days, hopefully she likes it and trades me her E46 or I could sell it after fixing it up a bit for profit. Just need to know if I should avoid this thing. It's actually pretty damn clean.

            Just ordered Plugs, IGN. Coils, MAF Boots, TB Gasket, Crankcase Vent Valve with all associated hoses. Been putting this off for too long. My 2002 is getting towed to my house Saturday. This weekend should be pretty good.

              Applies to motorcycles less than cars. You're going to be running out of space/paying a lot of insurance pretty soon.

                iX = my daily/love of my life
                2002 = Weekend Cruiser/Fun car
                E46 = My girl's car
                Jeep = Buy, drive, enjoy, sell for profit.

                That fourth car slot has always (in my mind) been reserved for cars that are "replaceable"/flippable. I have space for four cars in my drive way and two in my garage. i'm not worried about space, and not all four will be insured at all times.

                Garage would be housing my iX and 2002. Driveway would hold the Jeep and E46. Not crazy or anything.

                  Buell/e30 in my dad's garage in Portland (though it's starting to dawn on me that I need a long-term solution since he rents that garage)

                  Icon E-Flyer: Storage room under the apt/at the office
                  ZBoard: in the apt/at the office
                  Harley/Scrambler/Trail90: a full garage that I rent just for motorcycles ($300/month, sadly)
                  Corvair: space in a garage that I rent just for the car (another $280/month)

                  I might try to bring the Buell down here, but shipping is like $500 and my moto garage isn't really the place for an art piece. I've been toying around with the idea of buying a vacation house on a river out here that people go floating on. If I did that I'd make sure that it has a garage and I'd throw the e30 and Buell in there as future barn finds, prolly.

                        The Jeep isn't a V6. 4.0 I6. Great motors. I would totally buy that for a grand. Excellent winter beater.

                            Do it man. They're great cars...well, if you don't buy a 5.2 car. My parents bought one new in 1998 and it was the biggest piece of shit ever.

                              Be weary of the whole letting the gf drive it in the winter, it's pretty unsafe, best to avoid driving inclimate conditions even if it's huge and heavy. Modern safety goes a long, long mighty way. Big does not equal safe.

                                Nothing is perfect. The Jeep fits what we need pretty damn well with high potential for profit once we're done with it. It's really a win win.
