17mm Allen head socket in Portland??

Does anyone in the Portland area know a store that has a 17mm hex head socket that I can purchase? I've been all over NE to Baxter, Autozone, Home Depot, ACE Hardware, and called Sears. I need to change my transmission oil and transfer case ATF but I can not for the life of me find this tool! I really don't want to pay $8 shipping on a $10 part or $120 for a set that includes it, so pleeeease Portlanders help me out!

Yeah, that's what I've always done, but I've finally decided its time I buy the actual tool (I always seem to lose my home-made pieces haha).

Sears absolutely sells a 17MM allen key. I paid $8.99 for mine to change my tranny fluid and used a socket & extension for leverage.

I always use a short section of a 17mm allen wrench and a 17mm box end wrench. I used a cutoff wheel to slice off a piece of the allen wrench. There isn't a lot of clearance between tunnel and the fill plug, so this works better.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

I got a large allen key socket set from sears, i think it was 2 large size metrics and 2 large sae. One of the metrics was 17mm though, and I had to cut it down to fit.

I do like this, only I'm lazy. I use a 17mm hex socket and a gear wrench ... :pimp:

sears is where i got mine. I had my co-worked cut me off a peice, I forget how much, and he gorund it flat on both sides. fits perfect. Had to do it becuase no room between tunnel and transmission. They sell a special BMW tool for this but funk dat.
