                          Yes.

For those that might be interested in joining me for a caravan from the Vancouver/Portland area over to our lodging in The Dalles on Saturday August 11th, I will be meeting at 8am at the Biscuits Cafe in the Salmon Creek area of Vancouver WA (where I-5 and I-205 merge). I will be taking the "long way there" via some of my favorite twisty roads, and we'll be gone most of the day. This caravan will preceed the official Maryhill Loops event, so participation in the caravan is informal and optional.
It was in the event description on Motorsports Reg and I assume you would have got this info in a confirmation email.

Some of us are staying in The Dalles the night before.

I have arranged for a block of 20 rooms (under "BMW Car Club of America") to be saved for our event at the Shilo Inn in The Dalles. They have arranged a a rate of $104 plus tax per room for up to 2 people. There would be an extra person fee of $15 per person after two and kids under 12 stay free.

***This block of rooms will be available for reservation through July 11th! Please book early!***

                          Shilo Inn, 3223 Bret Clodfelter Way·The Dalles, OR·97058·P: (541) 298-5502·F: (541) 298-4673

I have a room booked from the block that the club has. Looking forward to this!

Do you have to be a certain age to check in? I am 20 but have heard places only take 21 and up. I called the hotel but there seemed to be some confusion.
