I drilled a hole in some wood so the control arm part fits in it snug and the lollipop doesnt and then i just pogo sticked that control arm untill it slid on, just make sure the lollipop is perfetly aligned first. It didnt take long at all for me

Buy some SilGlyde from NAPA, put a tiny dab on the inside of the bushing and pound it on with a real hammer...4 or 5 LB. Should go on pretty quick.Comment

I took a big rubber mallet I got from HF. Put dish soap on the bushing and control arm and hammered/pushed them on there. Bolted em up and dropped the car. Seems to have worked fine.sigpicComment

I would never, ever wish this on anyone. If you did this job in under 20 minutes, I envy your control arms. Took me 6 hours & a shitload of laundry detergent to pull it off, so forget the dish soap water, since it will not aid in anyway. It's not the weekend, so I would just take it to a shop & have it pressed, I'm not even bothering next time doing it myself.
I rather 5 speed swap someone's car versus doing this bushing change any day. May the chariot god's be with you :up:Originally posted by James Crivellone1) The internet is NOT serious business.Comment
