I expressed that I didn't want it sold out from under me and sitting in my garage was better than his, to which he agreed, telling me they'll be out in a couple days. Next I hear is he forgot about me and sold them to someone else. I told him in no uncertain terms how shitty that was and he replied about how many flakes he has to deal with, I was just another prospective buyer and cash talks. Worst part, for me, is I committed these parts to family member cars. Committed. I guess that means more to some than others...
I can understand you being upset. I said one thing, and I did another. BUT I will not keep apologizing to you when it was a honest mistake. Hell, the car isn't even mine. If you really read the ad, and wanted things to be solidified, you should have PM'd the owner of the vehicle and put a deposit down on said parts. No offense, but its a fucking diff and antenna. There are plenty of them out there.

From this point on, there will no longer be dibs on parts. Either show up with cash or i'll move on to the next person who can get to me first. I'm tired of wasting my time with kids with no money or people who want to bash me for trying to help out the community. If you don't like it, move on and buy from someone else.

Brad is a standup guy, those in this community who know and have dealt with him can support this. I am sure he meant no harm and wouldn't do this on purpose, that is not the kind of guy he is.

Sorry you had trouble, but speaking from someone who has sold a lot of crap, someones word on CL or rev isn't the same as SOLD.
    THIS.

R3v and parting out cars isnt my full time job. I definitely enjoy it, and like being able to help people out when i can. And anyone who knows me knows i'd give the shirt off my back (or garage space in this example) to help someone out.

Couldn't agree with this more. Sounds like dude needs to quit being a whiny bitch and move on. Can't tell you how many times I've had people say "oh I'll be there at X:XX with cash" and never hear from them again. The first person to come put money in my hand can buy the parts. Simple as that. No holding, no dibs, no bullshit. I don't see why this is so hard for people to grasp, or why they get mad over it.

I've delt enough with people on Craigslist to know that dibs and sold etc. doesn't mean a thing until the goods are picked up and money changes hands. When I was trying to sell my jeep I'd get lots of people saying "they'd be right over" blah blah and never show. It may be unfortunate to those that mean to keep their word to actually buy the items, but sellers don't have much option but to sell to whomever shows up with cash. That's the way it is, and I don't blame anyone selling things for it.
