i have seen 2 m3's a 325es. two 325ic. here is the link to one that is still up
I found my 325is off of there. also i have seen a few 325i. just keep your eyes out and keep looking. trust me e30's are well worth the wait. Also whenever you are given a phone number CALL IT! otherwise the seller hardly ever gets back to you.
also check out this site.
This guy is located in downtown portland and always has a few e30's for sale.
Best of luck!Last edited by '90 325is; 02-26-2009, 08:48 PM.PNW CREW

thank you...my dad actually bought a 528e from the guy about 5 years ago. I have seen his e30's but all of them tend to have the chrome bumpers and all seem to be overpriced.
What are your thoughts on that black 325i convertible in aurora? 240k?....I mean I am talking to one guy who has a 1986 porsche 944S with 117k and a timing belt changed 6k ago. I mean I just don't know.
No worries, I won't get a "modded" car. but what is the story with "watson"??? I am new on the r3v forums.1990 325i Coupe

240k is a lot of miles but I didn't really look in to the car very much. These things can run forever if they have been well maintained. it all just depends on the previous owners. Only thing to warn you on with the porsche 944 is, at that point they had a different cooling system and leaked quite a bit of oil. All old porsches are like that. Also look into the price of parts. Either way best of luck and have fun!PNW CREW

Also what are your plans for the car? Autox? track? DD? or just a weekend toy? this could sway you one way or the other. i'd also say try to go for a ride in one of each and see what each one feels like.PNW CREW

It will be a DD. Basically I want a 5spd coupe in respectable condition. I am interested in the 944's, e30's, and datsun 510's. If it is an e30 I would prefer the shorter plastic bumpers and for it to be an m42 or m20. I know the most about bmw's but I do like the way the other two models look. I have driven two e30's and one datsun 510 coupe but i have not yet driven a 944. Based on the car being a "DD" and knowing what I have driven, do you have any recommendations? I am more than open.
I love the e30's, they drive, handle, and feel great. I have just been looking for a while and a nice porsche presented itself before a nice e30 did. thats all1990 325i Coupe

well I have only driven my e30 so I won't be much help on recommendations. What you should do though is spend a lot of time on google looking up the pros and the cons of all 3 cars. make sure you know a good amount about each car before you make a decision. It's a time consuming process but it is also funPNW CREW

haha, I know what you mean...I can almost completely rule out the 510 seeing as they are very rare to come by and most of them are either really beat up or someone already used them as a project. That being said, I know a fair amount about the e30, but there is plenty of room for me to learn about the porsche 944.
I actually enjoy looking up stuff like this so it shouldn't be a problem trying to research cars. I love it!

just part of the PNW group on this site. if you own an e30 and live in the PNW you are in the PNW crew. there is a thread for it on the PNW subforumPNW CREW
