A/c and a water leak from the sunroof.

Whats wrong with AC? Also the leak could just be seals or the sunroof is not closed all the way. Where and how does it leak? We can try to help via forum.

Do you have the 134a freon conversion?

Oh, got the shop, swept the floor and repaired the holes left by the previous tenant. Epoxy-ing the floor tomorrow and just got the price sheet from the flow bench company. Can't wait to use my OWN flow bench and not paying someone to test heads for me after they were worked :D I have an 885 top end I am putting on my car, so I guess I'll have to start with that, already have my GM v6's down to a science...

I got my ac to work. Need to fix the condenser fan. The leak is from the sunroof not on right. I put a new seal but it still leaks. I can't get it to sit flush with the roof.

Condensor fan is a pain to replace because of everything you need to remove to get to it. Some people have tried to slide it out but I have the newer bumpers and was not able to. Also I would recommend adding an aftermarket as they are cheaper than a new stock one. You just have to modify the mounting. Zipties will be just fine. Also if you go with the brand Spal, like I did, excellent quality and lifetime warranty.

Regarding the sunroof, you might just have to re-align it if you replaced the seals. I dont know if the Bentley manual explains it. I dont have a sunroof on mine.

Im going to just plug the sunroof with the carbon fiber one they sell on ebay.

Good luck with that. But if you do a swap without the re-alignment, you might have the same issue with the new one.

I was painting the floor at the new shop 'till 11pm Thursday night, and was moving stuff from my garage/old shop I was sharing from 9am to 11pm yesterday. You don't realize how much stuff you have until you move!

Just as a little note theres a once a month autocross over in fort myers. and theres usually 1 -2 e30's there. and other bmws [but its not a bmw only event] But its a place to kinda meet. and stuff

Im in miami too! It would be cool to meet up. I just turned 16 in august and bought my e30 the way it is (havnt done anything to it; except the home depot front lip) like a said, im a 16 year old kid with no money so i have to improvise. I would like to change my rims before anthing though. I dont like the way they look on my car. and after that lower it.

Hello guys,, it is time again to organize another meet before I sell my convertible and my 1st baby is born in Nov. Since the weather is getting a little bit nicer these days, I was hoping to see how many people would like to get together. Theme "BMW SouthFlorida Oktoberfest" (since we don't get our oktoberfest down here)
We have 2 more weekends ahead. Either the weekend of the 24th or the weekend of the 31st. Another thing,, what day would be better for you...Saturday or Sunday ?
We had a nice meet at the C.B Smith Park last time. Not too far from Miami and not that bad for the people in West Palm Beach. Just about right for Broward.
Like always, I will try to invite all the oldies 2002's and put it in another forums... Also, this is a pot lock meet, so bring your drinks, food, we can order pizza to be delivered, etc.
