According to realoem there isn't any difference between te ix and normal e30 weave caps.

They're still cheap enough new that I wouldn't even bother buying old, used beat up ones that probably have broken tabs. People think they're worth gold but they're not..

They're $100/ea now new, it's crazy. I posted two sets of caps a few weeks back but the same guy bought both sets immediately after posting. Another gentleman posted a set the week before that and they also sold right away.

They all sold for $150/set of four.

I just pieced together a fresh set for my iX but need to hold onto them. I'll let you know if I run across any more.

Yeah the $100/cap just isn't justifiable right now! If you come across a complete set, or even a partial set, let me know! I have two caps right now, so just two to go.

You're better off just forking over the dough for new now. They may go up even more soon. I just bought a new set of Euroweave caps. Having mint ones is way better than beat 25 yeah old ones.

this is unfortunately not true. tomorrow, i will post a picture of a 15" cap compared to the 14. they are a good bit larger. however, i do believe the plastic center part is the same

ix caps are the same as e30m3 caps and euroweave caps.

I was talking about the 15inch ix wheels. Should have mentioned it.

At that price I think I'll be removing mine and running the naked look for a while.

I really should talk to my employer about starting a new 401(k) fund that invests in IX parts.

                    14" x 6.5" BBS RZ / BMW Style 5 Basketweave = 151mm BBS centercap / 36132225622 = $65
                    15" x 7.0" BBS RZ / BMW Style 5 Euroweave / IX / M3 = 171mm BBS centercap / 36132225376 = $105

The plastic spinning 70mm emblem center 6-sided/hexagon is the same between these 14" and 15" BBS/BMW center caps (57.1mm center bore wheels), the differing 151mm v. 171mm size/diameter of the surrounding alloy basket weave center cap is what makes them different.
