If anyone else is looking for a place to stay I did a bunch of research and decided on the Best Western at the Tacoma Dome. Prices are reasonable and it's actually a decent place. They also have a gated parking garage which I thought was great. I used a corporate code (00322510) thanks to some online research that gave me the best rates I could find anywhere online.

That sucks! :( I must be lucky, I've driven mine ~16k miles in the last year and a half with probably 80% of them on the 5 and have only little chips on my bumper and a few on the windshield. Only protection is laminx on my euro headlights. (those 18wheelers and rain!)
That said, my front valance looks pretty dang chipped up and it was nearly chip free when I bought the car. The cost of dailying I guess I want to make it my fun car and relieve it of some of the daily duty but that's not in the cards currently.-Christian
