My first 3 cars were 740il's so I'm a little partial.

Finding a manual trans for the m70/2 is like finding a year's supply of leprican scrotum. The bell housing is completely different compared to other BMW engines. Its rounded over on the top similar to the chrysler v8 style. On the flip side, I believe the starting price for the e39 m5 engine alone is pretty close to 5k.
Speaking of pipe dreams, I wish I could find a z8 with a bad engine for...i don't know.....say 30 kay.sigpic

Beautiful color but I think the price is too high for an automatic. Bothers me when people use pics of wheels that don't come with the car too.
I think 5k is more realistic.
"The only modifications done to the car are bilstein struts with h&r springs
3pc HRE wheels. I have the original wheels as well with good tires as well and will be sold with the car. Also have a box full of spare e30 parts that goes with it!"
It's for sale on here also - https://www.r3vlimited.com/board/sho...d.php?t=413671

It gets a lot of attention! Asking price is $7500, will not part with the wheels!
^guess he is saying he will not sell the wheels separately....Last edited by TeXJ; 09-21-2017, 08:09 AM.1990 325is

Very unique car, very interesting auction:
BMW E30 320, M POWER BMW Motorsport engine, 193 HP, manual gearbox, registered on February 1988, so year of manufacturing 1987. One owner, very well preserved, in very good condition, only 140,000 km approximately. Bodywork never repainted, with only a few signs (as shown in photos). Non-smoker, very good engine just dusted, 4-door version.
Already at 5000 Euro with 11 days left. The auctioneer's estimate should give an indication where the reserve is set if there is one. Could be huge value here.
