Just make sure the screwdriver is set against the PS pump, that the wp pulley is rotated clockwise to "lock down" the screwdriver and that you are pulling up so if something slips your knuckles remain attached to your hands :-)

It sounds like you just need a new fan clutch!Your signature picture has been removed since it contained the Photobucket "upgrade your account" image.

Thanks dear, I tried a new thread, but was not posted as i'm new here.
This is the only post related to the problem i got.
There is a pin at the centre of the fan, on the pulley, i think that it is stuck and making the fan to free wheeling.
anyone knows how it works for that pin.E30 addicted sigpic
