I hate to be that kid who posts the noob ass questions like this, but me and a friend were discussing this earlier and weren't sure. He thought it was possible, but I wasn't sure.
Is it possible to get 300whp out of an S52 with "basic" bolt ons and some porting? The plan is to rebuild my buddies S52 for my E30. Not gonna mess with the bottom end, just get new bearings and seals and have it cleaned, then rebuild the head, run stock valvetrain aside from some porting, super tech valvesprings, and cams. Then have an M50 manifold, 24# injectors, 3.5in MAF, KAMotors intake, headers/full exhaust, a tune for 93 octane and under drive pullies.
Is 300whp an achievable goal without major work? What kind of numbers would this set up most likely bring? I'm not looking to go FI. Also, out of curiosity, does anyone make an S52 ITB kit?
Thanks
