★★★★George Graves★★★★ Project Blog for e30 Gizmos and Gadgets - 2025 UPDATE
Concerning the 4-door people. I haven't tested a 4-door install yet (my e30 is a two door) - you're on your own for the time being.

that's going to take some work to conceal in a four door... hmm.
If you're some crazy person, and want people in your back seat to have one touch, that's on you!!!!!!!!!! That's not who I made this for...if you have a 2-door car - ignore below....
Well, you don't have to install 4 of these into a 4-door if you don't want to. You can run the large base e36 window switches for the rears if you would like.
Two can fit in the rear center console - their is a large hollow space - they fit nicely - that's going to be the recommended location for 2-door installs
I tested fitting two between the center console and the HVAC box. It's a sung fit - but they did fit there without issue.
So between the two locations you can fit 4 units (assuming you don't have seat heater switches)
This was just a quick and dirty "will they fit" test. I mounted them to the HVAC box, and added some clay, penis shaped things. Then I installed the center console - smashing the clay. Remove it and I was able to tell, yes, they fit with about 3/16" to spare.

Same deal as far as I know.
Just finished the printed instructions (mostly it's details for alarm hook up).
For sale thread is coming up next.
Ever get annoyed at how long it takes to open and close your sunroof?
Yea, me too. Fact is I don't use my sunroof as much because of it. And that's kinda sad - cause I love an open sunroof to the sky. Well, here ya go.....e30 one touch sunroof control. (It's the same unit and everything.)
Tracy is alive and well - in my car and doing well. But...you'll need to wait for that. First....Meet project Valerie.

So .... If you've been watching this thread from the first post, you'll notice the humble beginning with a analog 10-LED gauge. I still make them time to time for people that ask(price is about $125), but....
I've always wanted to go back and revisit those series of gauges.
FIRST ANALOG VERSION:
In short - make them a proper digital gauge. I can't tell you how many people have emailed me asking for a stealth type wideband AFR gauge.
So, let's see what we can do....Let's make a prototype. Sure - why not. (and yes, I'm being a disingenuous by pretending this didn't take weeks and weeks of work)
Fitting a display in such a tiny case is an exercise in insanity. I'll get back to that in a moment.
