will your units just plug into small base switches as-is or are they modified as well?

It's all custom. In the case of the switches, the internals are custom made for this.

I've had a few PM's asking me if the "alarm/keyless" feature would be included - or an additional charge.

Answer: All units will come with it standard. No extra charge. Buy the one touch, then add a keyless/alarm unit to your e30 when ever you want to.

It's not an an issue I didn't considered. I've thought ever possible situation before I posted.

I've already looked into making a unit for e36 window switches owners (see above) - but your best bet is to to simply buy a stock e30 window switch connector.

Another incredibly simple solution for the already converted guys is to include a handful of butt crimps and tell them which wires to connect

Yes, one kit per switch. So for 4 windows, you will need 4 kits.
