    SOLD: unrestored cali no rust 771 MTech2 vert macaoblau RARE!!

    SOLD SOLD SOLD to another R3V member. The car is in good hands

    PRICE is $5500. Only 150 of these cars were made, and only five existed with this combo of features. If you have any interest at all in this car and are serious about restoration, please PM me. I have about $2k worth of parts available as well.

    I have too many E30s and want to focus efforts so I'm selling my full MT2 macaoblau convertible.

    Much more detail and pics in this thread.
    *Car's in storage right now in the Chicago burbs.
    *Long SoCal history. Brand new tires and battery, as well as a couple of the wheel caps.

    I'll work with the right buyer on this. I need to be convinced they're going to restore the car properly.

    In addition I've purchased quite a bit of stuff already including brand new front valance, MT2 cloth, trunk liner, replacement exhaust, 3.73 LSD, instrument panel, MT2 badges...

    I'm in no hurry here, just want to focus on fewer projects. This car needs to be owned by somebody who understands its rarity and is willing to restore it properly. If you're that person I definitely want to work something out with you.

              Hi CAPP. fair questions. I really love E30s, definitely would love to restore this car to its rightful condition. I'm the right buyer for this car, but it's just the wrong time.

              The short answer is too many projects (4 E30s) and not enough garage space (2 car garage, SIX cars and a Ducati, 2 cars in storage). I have a sale pending on my m42 turbo, and my other vert's MT1 conversion is sitting there waiting too. Then there's the IX which needs a full rebuild... my attic's completely full with E30 bits :-) Realistically it would be 2-3 years before I finished the MT2.

              If there's another buyer out here that's willing and able to take this car on properly then I'd love to get in touch with them. If I can find someone like that then I can focus on my other rides. Otherwise I plan to leave the car in storage for a while. I have plans to expand my garage and install a lift, but it's about a year out.

              Bottom line: I jumped the gun :-)

                Please take a look at the build thread. Car's in storage right now so not easy to take pics. While they're not great pics on the build thread, anyone who knows these 771 cars can get a good feel for the vehicle's condition. It's absolutely worth the attention and investment.

                I can definitely take higher quality pics and video if it's really necessary, but I have to make arrangements. The storage location has several other cars from various owners so it's a pretty big deal.

                      Surprised to see you selling this. Few people have even seen or heard of it without internet forums and sites, let alone own one. They are the coolest, rarest and most expensive e30's (when new) out there. I would reconsider selling it but if it must go then I hope it goes to a true enthusiast.

                        That's pretty cheap, some swapped e30's go for more then that.

                          It's indeed a very fair price for a rust free Cali 771. This car is easily $13-$18k depending on the quality of the resto.
