I'm curious what shop in Atlanta is doing the work. Plus, how far are they going to stand behind the work.

The car is currently at European Motorcars but Payet motorsports is who I am going to have do the repairs. The owner Bernardo is expecting twins and he has apparently been really busy selling all his parts and motors.
Once again, I appreciate people who are not hating. And also I wish I never did get myself into this situation. I still like e30s and I am actually going to fix my friends idle problem while he is on vacation. As for the "$4000" flux in the price, i was selling for $5750 to give a member a deal who would likely be mechanically inclined enough to fix it themselves. Now I am likely fixing it and therefore I honestly still feel the car is worth ever penny of $8000+, sorry for being such a tool.

You realize Matt can ban anyone he feels since he part-owns the site, right? How much do any of us PAY to have use of the forum? You don't have a born right to post, and I think anyone who takes shots at Admin staff should be put in time-out. It's like trespassing and sueing the guy when you get hurt on his property.

Matt may or may not have been right in his original comment, but it's immaterial as he has the RIGHT to post anything, anywhere as a part owner. Deal with it.

Oh, and Rob - I was referring to you as the tool. Mike's a tool too, but in a more likable way. And if you don't like me calling you a tool, go back to the other E30 site. I don't ever go there or even have a log-in, so you won't have to deal with me there.

Why don't you just get it fixed, and put it on Ebay and be done with the whole E30 thing? It's pretty clear nobody wants to buy from you at your fixed asking price, and someone there will pay more for it than any of us over on Ebay.

None of these guys are serious about buying this car. That's the reason for the hostility. Sure you had a bad string of luck, but shit happens. Here is what I will offer. I will give you 5500... no repairs or anything needed I will tow it from the location and take it to my shop to be fixed. This is probably the best most honest offer you will get on this forum. PM me with any questions.

I did in fact purchase the car for $9000, but I returned the car to the market for $10.5k. I felt the car was that desireable and in the condition to pull that price.

What was wrong with the car? What did you fix to make the value increase by $1500? for you to charge that much more some would expect you to have put another 5K into the car.

Yes I learned that, the reason I put it for more was because I was the first to claim dibs and I bought it literally that weekend. People were still sending the seller offers of 10k+. That is why I decided to resell, I thought it would move quickly with no hassles. It is my first bmw I have bought entirely with my own money and as the summer had basically ended and I was at school, I thought I could make a quick buck. I did not know it would cause contraversy nor did I know it actually would anger people. PM sent to the local guy with the offer. Thanks again.
