Introducing a new product! I am offering Acme Standard HID projector retrofit kits. Based on early versions of the Morimoto Mini H1, it's a good projector at and affordable price. Keep in mind, these are not as good of a quality projector as the Morimoto Mini H1 8.0, however, where the Morimoto retrofit kit is $530, these are $295.

The beam pattern won't be as wide or as sharp as the Morimoto, but it will still be better than the halogen projector that comes stock.

This is definitely an option for my 4 door, the coupe would surely get the morimoto. Will be in touch.

Any idea if these can be used with Morimoto D2S?

They will not, they’re made specifically for the mini H1. The d2s is also too large to fit into the housings with an adapter and without cutting up the factory bucket.

Just wanted to take a minute to vouch for these - I've had mine installed for a few weeks and love them!

Looks really good at night and thanks for updating a night time pic! I was interested to see the light output towards oncoming traffic. For the smileys, the city light would still be functional?

                      No problem!!

The adapters do not impact the city light at all. The adapters are shaped in such a way that they don't interfere with that.

The cutoff is sharp, so you'll be good with oncoming traffic.

nice. I have some euro smileys that could use upgrading, is this the product I need, or do I need to check and see if it is bosch/hella brand?

No one makes this car anymore. The government won't allow them, normal people won't buy them. So it's up to us: the freaks, the weirdos, the informed. To buy them, to appreciate them, and most importantly, to drive them.
