Sealing the deal would be nice! I like the sealed bulb box and would be in. Nobody likes foggy lights.

I was up above it, Now I'm down in it ~ Entropy - A Build thread.

I mean, that's kind of what I thought, too. Haha.

Also in for the sealed box! My e30 lives outside and gets driven in all weather, it would be a nice addition.

Awesome! I know it doesn't provide as "clean" or simple of a look, but I think this is one area where function takes precedence over form.

The Bulb Box seals against the mounting nut on the bucket, and then the mounting donut inside has a groove with an o-ring fitted that seals on the bottom side of the bulb retainer threads. Then the wires for the bulb exit out the bottom (or side if you wish depending on how you orientate it) so when your looking at the projector from inside the engine bay, you'll only see the clean face of the lid. for extra protection, you could run a small bead of sealant along the lip of the bucket before you put the lid on.

As always, all threaded holes are heat-set threaded inserts with M3 stainless steel screws included.

Oh, and Bosch Smiley Adapters are live on the website. By far the hardest adapter to design, but definitely the easiest to retrofit.

Hey guys! I updated the first page to make things a little more clear and reworked the website a little bit to simplify things. I think how I was describing the product and listing it was a little confusing - especially when interchanging the words adapters and retrofit kits.

To be clear: These are retrofit kits. An adpater is part of it to mount the projector, but these kits replace your stock halogen bulbs and stock projectors with new HID bi-xenon projectors. I grouped the kits together on the website in a way that I think makes more sense and makes it easier to place an order.

Here's some Depo adapters being assembled.

A retrofit in a few easy steps! Remove the stock projector. Trim the housing. Assemble the new projector. Install!

                            Hey everyone!

Introducing a new product! I am offering Acme Standard HID projector retrofit kits. Based on early versions of the Morimoto Mini H1, it's a good projector at and affordable price. Keep in mind, these are not as good of a quality projector as the Morimoto Mini H1 8.0, however, where the Morimoto retrofit kit is $530, these are $295.

The beam pattern won't be as wide or as sharp as the Morimoto, but it will still be better than the halogen projector that comes stock.

Nice! I figured those would be easy to adapt and a good way to get people into modding their lights.

The dimensions work. However, they won't fit the Hella lights and Bosch is a maybe. But they work with the exact same adapter so it's only a matter of using a new plate.

In my hands they don't feel bad. I can definitely see where the Morimoto is a nicer unit, but for the cost, I don't think you can go wrong. Thanks for the suggestion!
