Sorry for the delayed response...

Both boots are either glued to the trim or you can hold them in place when you snap in the trim. I don't glue them when I install them for pics.

The vinyl is marine grade, you're good on UV.

Thanks for the info! also, do you do custom sizing or stitching? My situation is that I am using an e34 leather ebrake which is a bit shorter than the e30 one. I believe the neck has to be elongated by an inch or 2. In addition, I would like mtech stitching to compliment the mtech badge on my steering wheel. is that something you can do?
