Back in Germany - junkyard trips to follow

Hey everyone, it's been a while since I've been on r3v, but hopefully some of you remember me. I just moved back to Germany for the year to finish my Master's degree and am planning to do some junkyard runs to support my drinking habits. I mean... help buy books and stuff. Yeah

I did this about two years ago and was pretty happy with the results - I would go to junkyards here in Germany and get either the kinds of things that lots of people would want i.e. euro bumper trim, early model euro bumpers, smilies, gauge clusters, etc., and just post them up in a general running list of available stuff, or try to get specialty requested stuff if I could find it... fire extinguisher brackets, first aid kits, full houndstooth or mtech interiors.

I'm looking to test the waters and see if anyone is interested in this, what kind of things people are looking for (either general stuff or specialty) and a ballpark on prices. I'm not looking to make a killing, but I've got a few months until classes start and won't have any kind of job here for a while. Mostly just working on my thesis... and who wants to do that every day? Honestly my goal in this is to save enough to buy a car here and bring it back when I'm done. Something with 5 doors.

If people seem interested, I'll do a bit of price searching to see what stuff is going for, and then this weekend I'll hit a few junkyards to see what the prices and availability are.

I need a set of the chrome trim that runs below the driver/passenger window for a convertible door. The great thing is they would be easy to ship in a poster roll or wrapping paper roll.

    Also M-tech body parts.

I can vouch as well, he got me a ton of stuff when he was doing this a couple of years ago, and is excellent to work with! Bump for you!

How hard would this be to find straight, un-rusted, and then ship? Pretty bulky.

I'd be in for german check panel, headlight washers, and euro grilles.

I need a e28 center dash vent that can be opened and closed. I know e28's are hard to come by over there now.
