Have you considered brake bias when choosing the e46m fronts and 540i rears?

What rear brake lines do you use?

Bought one of these kits before this thread was up and the quality is on point! I've machined parts before myself and my work doesn't hold a candle to this product.

He has very quick response time aswell, if I had a use for a second kit I wouldn't hesitate to buy another.

Brake bias has been calculated to be slightly towards the front.

The stock E30 front lines work, I replaced the fronts with the stock E46 lines.

1-Do you mean the floating rotor?
            2- Rears are E46 non M rotors (E46 325i etc.)
            [/QUOTE]

            Yes I meant Floating rotors
2- Can the rears work for any other rotors (e90 320 for example 320 mm ) ?

I believe you would need a new bracket for the front caliper to use the floating rotor.

I have not had the question about E90 rotors before, or heard of anyone trying it. I would think they wouldn't work if they are 320mm, they would be too large? The E46 325 rotors I used were 294mm x 19 mm.

With the purchase of your kit and the associated parts to complete the build, do you have an estimate price to finish?
                $450 kit
                Parts list $?
Don't worry about labor I will be doing myself
I'm just looking for a price range considering you could go with stock to high end parts.
                Thanks

Including the cost of the kit, I finished mine for about $1100 doing labor myself. If you can replace a wheel bearing you can do this install no problem. Depends on if you are doing used/new and what deals you can find. The most expensive parts can be the calipers/rotors, depending one what you go with. The most expensive part for me was the E30M3 rear drive flanges, with the best deal I found being about $330 for both. Other than that its E36 front hub assemblies, and E30 rear bearings. This is about what a one axle BBK kit is, and you get both axles and a 5 lug swap!

I provide full picture instructions in the kit!

Just so people know what they are getting into I can describe the install. Its essentially replacing a wheel bearing front and rear. This can be easy or harder depending on if you have the correct tools to do it. In the front you press spacers into the E36 hub assembly with a vise and reinstall as stock. The brake dust shield must be removed or modified to fit larger calipers. The only other extra step is mounting the brackets where the stock calipers go, then mounting the new calipers to the brackets.

                      Hope that helps!

Either set up works. Jb325is used e46 m3 front lines for the rear and e30 stock lines in the front. Or you could do what elcoy did. E46 m3 front lines and e30 front lines in the rear
