yes. All m20 g260's use the same starter, except the k5 relay 8mm nut/wire was added in 1988. Early models only had one 8mm nut/wire, late has 2. If using an early starter in a late car, you can just ground the k5 wire and the only thing that happens is your power windows etc will work during cranking (late models drop relay voltage to stop power windows from moving while cranking). Since you have early model, you can use any m20 starter without issue, direct fit.
