is anyone else having problems with the weight of the AFM stressing the intake boot.

my intake fits great, looks great, and sounds cool
......buuuut i just had to replace my intake boot cause, #1 maybe it was just old and ripped, but #2 it may be from relocating it away from the support bracket that holds this MASSIVE block of metal. anyone been able to suport the weight of it with theur KA intake??

now that i replaced the boot it seems fine but only time will tell

is the filter removable? how do you open it for maintenance, can you post some pics of that.

Yes, all you do is remove 3 screws and the canister is removed to clean the filter. If you look close you can see screws around the top and bottom.
